How to DTR: Choose Your Path

Both paths use a powerful modification of the Shaman’s (Box) Breath. Inhaling through the nose grounds your energy, while exhaling through the mouth stimulates the vagus nerve to instantly shift your body into “rest-and-digest.”

  1. Inhale through the nose (4 seconds).

  2. Pause and hold (4 seconds).

  3. Exhale slowly through pursed lips or your Komuso (4 seconds).

  4. Pause and hold empty (4 seconds).

  5. Repeat 4 to 5 times.
